Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program that helps many low income households pay for broadband service and internet connected devices. Households may be eligible to receive a monthly discount on a new or existing internet service plan. The ACP provides households with $30 off their internet bill per month. There are several ways to qualify: If households participate in government programs or based on annual household income. Twenty leading internet providers offer ACP eligible households a high-speed internet plan for no more than $30 per month. Eligible families who pair their ACP benefit with one of these plans can receive high-speed internet at no cost.

Golden State Stimulus

The Golden State Stimulus provides $600 rapid cash support to nearly four million low-income Californians. Taxpayers that file with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) may receive $1,200 of direct cash relief. Eligibility for the stimulus money is based on your 2020 tax return. If you qualify, you simply need to file your taxes to receive the stimulus payment. The California Franchise Tax Board will issue payments on a monthly basis once your return is processed. Payments will be issued separately from your individual state tax refund via direct deposit or check.

College Corps

The #CaliforniansForAll College Corps helps create debt-free pathways to college while engaging students across the state in solving problems in their communities. College Corps will provide up to 6,500 college students from 48 colleges with opportunities to support and learn from organizations working in three priority areas: K-12 Education, Climate Action and Food Insecurity. College Corps Fellows who complete 450 hours of service with will receive a $7,000 stipend (living allowance), plus a $3,000 Education Award and academic credit (amount and type to be determined by each partner campus).
