FamilySource

The FamilySource System is a network of 16 one-stop community centers, known as FamilySource Centers (FSC). The FSCs are located in high-need areas of the City of Los Angeles and provide a myriad of social, educational, work and family support services designed to assist working families to become more self-sufficient by increasing income and academic achievement for youth and adults. Services offered include: One-on-one counseling, workshops, case management, food distribution, employment support, multi-benefit screening, parenting classes, college access activities, computer literacy, adult education, tutoring and mentoring.

LIFT-LA

LIFT-LA empowers families to break the cycle of poverty through one-on-one financial, educational and career coaching. Programs include: one-on-one coaching, workshops, resources and referrals to financial services and basic needs support. Services provided in English and Spanish.

East LA Community Corporation (ELACC)

ELACC’s mission is to advocate for economic and social justice in Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles by building grassroots leadership, developing affordable housing and neighborhood assets, and providing access to economic development opportunities for low- and middle-income families. NEW is driven by its mission to build economic mobility for women and families through housing, wealth creation, education and entrepreneurship. Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD)

CRCD’s mission is to better sustain, coordinate, and improve local planning, development, and community services that address the needs of low-income and working-class residents and small businesses in South Los Angeles. Programs include one-on-one counseling, financial workshops, job interview training, resume writing, credit building, financial coaching and counseling, incentive savings programs, and career development. Support for Afghan Financial Empowerment (SAFE)

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) an organization that helps people affected by humanitarian crisis launched a new, nationwide initiative known as Support for Afghan Financial Empowerment (SAFE). SAFE is an initiative led by the IRC’s national Economic Empowerment team and their Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO) to empower Afghan families as they begin their journey toward economic self-sufficiency in their new homes across the U.S.


Koreatown Youth + Community Center (KYCC)

KYCC was established in 1975 to support a growing population of at-risk youth in Los Angeles. Today, KYCC is the leading multiservice organization in Koreatown, supporting children and their families in the areas of education, health, housing and finances. We believe that if the family is healthy, our community will thrive. Programs include: Tax preparation, financial coaching, one-on-one counseling, workshops, matched savings program and utility assistance. Services are provided in English, Spanish and Korean.
